This notice explains how CeilingDesk ("we") handles the data you submit through the early-access waitlist form on this site. It does not cover the CeilingDesk product, which is still in development; a separate policy will apply when it launches.
1. What we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect the email address you submit, which is required. You may optionally add the number of crews you run, your preferred language, the tools you use today, and a short free-text note. We also record how you reached us (the page language, the referring page, and any campaign tags in the link) and the time you submitted the form.
2. Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your email for one purpose: to send you a message when early access opens. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box on the form and can withdraw at any time. We use the optional answers to understand demand and shape the product; the basis here is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and you can object at any time.
3. How long we keep it
We keep your submission until early access opens and we have sent your invitation, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If early access has not launched within 18 months of your sign-up, we delete your data.
4. Who processes it
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. To receive and store submissions and to run this site, we use Google (the form is recorded in Google Sheets via Google Apps Script) and Cloudflare (hosting and email forwarding). They act as our processors and handle the data only on our instructions.
5. International transfers
Google and Cloudflare are based in the United States, so your data may be stored on servers outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the provider is certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to info@ceiling-desk.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in your country. We will not send you anything other than the early-access notice.
